On March 17-23, 2021 the third module of “Entrepreneurship for Youth” Spring School training was held within the frame of EU “ERASMUS + SMART. Fostering University-Enterprise Cooperation and Entrepreneurship of Students via Smart Caffes (SMART)” project, conducted by GSU Rector Ruzanna Hakobyan, Specialist at the Quality Assurance Department Nona Muradyan, Specialist at Foreign Relations and Media Department Siranuysh Mkrtchyan.
The module included four topics.
- Startup finances,
- Marketing and branding,
- Business model development,
- Intellectual property rights and legal basis.
Within the framework of the module, four video lessons were conducted on each topic. Online meetings were organized and the participants received the answers to their questions, discussed what startups are, how to find funding, the students tried to model and develop their business ideas through the “business model canvas” toolkit. Within the framework of the topic “Marketing and branding”, the students got acquainted with the tools for creating a logo, tried to develop logos for their future businesses, outline the marketing directions.
Within the framework of the topic “Intellectual property rights and legal basis” Mrs. Hakobyan presented the institute of intellectual property rights, referred to the subjects, objects, copyright and related rights. The speaker presented in details the interstate and international legal bases and structures for the protection of intellectual property rights in the Republic of Armenia.
The participants stated that the lessons of GSU Spring School are interesting and fruitful.
