Within the framework of EU “Erasmus + “ international program Gavar State University hosted the representatives of Angel Kanchev University of Ruse, Bulgaria – Plamen Kangalov, Vice-Rector on Academic Affairs of Angela Kanichev, Mikhail Ilyev, Dean of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation, Gourgen Yeghiazaryan, Dean of Faculty of Agrarian Engineering of  Armenian National Agrarian University.

The Rector of Gavar State University Ruzanna Hakobyan welcomed the guests, highlighted the long-term cooperation between Gavar state University and Angel Kanchev University of Ruse.

Then the guests had a meeting with the students, professors and administrative staff of the University.

Vice-Rector of Angel Kanchev University of Ruse, Plamen Kangalov presented the history of their university, faculties, structural subdivisions, laboratories, as well as video films about Bulgaria and the University.

Mikhail Ilyev presented the activities of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation, noting that the university is armed with modern innovative equipment and has implemented a digitalization program of historical and cultural heritage of Bulgaria and Romania with the support of European Union.

Gurgen Yeghiazaryan also welcomed GSU representatives, urging students to actively participate in academic mobility programs.

At the end of the meeting, the guests visited Historical Museum of Gavar State University after Varsham Avetyan.
