In September, 2018 Hakob Khachatryan – a Lecturer at the Chair of Management and Finance, Faculty of Economics, Gavar State University, a Ph.D in Economics participated in a training course entitled “Academic Leadership towards Entrepreneurial University” within EU “Erasmus +” Academic Mobility Programme. The training was held at Varna University of Management, Bulgaria.
The training was attended by the representatives from Armenia, Russia, Argentina, Albania, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Christina Armutlieva, Head of International Cooperation Department at the University of Varna presented the topic, the process, the format and the main goal of the training course as well as the expected outcomes of the training.
Vesselin Blagoev, a professor at Varna University of Management delivered lectures during the training. He presented the main differences between the notions of Management and Leadership in the field of entrepreneurship, touched upon the modern issues of Higher Educational Institutions’ development, the importance of Academic leadership towards the development of Higher Educational Institutions and the reform process, discussed the principles and methods of business management.
At the end of the training, the participants visited the cultural sites in Bulgaria – Balchik and Kaliakra.
At the end of the course, Mr. Hakob Khachatryan was awarded a certificate.
