THE FRAMEWORK OF ARMENIAN-AUSTRIAN INTER-UNIVERSITY COOPERATION EXPANDS

On May 16-17, 2019  Yerevan hosted the first Armenian-Austrian cooperation meeting aimed at establishing contacts between the HEIs of the two countries and revealing new perspectives of cooperation in the framework of the EU “Erasmus +” program.

45 representatives of 22 Armenian and 20 representatives of 12 Austrian universities were hosted at Yerevan State Brusov University of Languages and Social Sciences and at the Armenian State Academy of Fine Arts.

From Gavar State University Ruzanna Sargsyan, a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Language and Literature of the Faculty of Philology, and Siranuysh Mkrtchyan, a specialist at the Department of Foreign Relations and Media participated in the contact seminar.

During the two-day seminar, the delegates of the universities of two countries presented their universities, successes recorded in international cooperation programs and established links with each other.

The Austrians had partner visits to Armenian universities.
