A WORKSHOP TOOK PLACE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF EU “ERASMUS + KPI4HE ” PROJECT

From September 23 to 28, 2024 EU “Erasmus + Establishment of National Framework of Key Performance Indicators for Good Governance and Quality towards Inclusive, Digital and Green Oriented Higher Education in Armenia (KPI4HE)” project workshop took place at The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany within the framework of the project work package 1.2. The purpose of the work package was to present the European experience aimed at improving the strategic planning, management and quality assurance of higher education in the context of digitization and green education.
The representatives of the EU partner universities of the project – the universities of Oldenburg, Dresden and Genoa – introduced presentations on the following topics: Elements of KPIs in the Context of Internationalization, following the example of the University of Oldenburg, EU Best Practices in the Field of Strategic Planning, following the example of the University of Oldenburg’s innovation-oriented activities and start-ups, KPIs in the Field of Green Information Technologies and the University of Oldenburg’s Sustainability Activities, International Research, KAIs for Startups in Oldenburg, KAIs for Developing English as a Non-linguistic Curriculum, Public Funding of the Italian University System, Internationalization following the example of Riga Technical University, Research-oriented Strategic Planning Guidelines. After the presentation of the topics, discussions were held in the working groups on the given topics.
At the end of the training, a number of organizational issues related to the implementation of the actions plan were discussed and outlined.
From Gavar State University the Vice-Rector of the University – Nelli Kutuzyan, Head of the Chair of Informatics and Physical-Mathematical Sciences – Varazdat Avetisyan, Head of Academic Policy Department – Olga Ghazaryan, Head of Quality Assurance Department – Kanakara Hayrapetyan, Head of Foreign Relations and Media Department- Lilit Torchayn and a Specialist at the same department – Siranuysh Mkrtchyan, participated at the training.
