On January 30 and 31, 2024 EU “Erasmus + Establishment of National Framework of Key Performance Indicators for Good Governance and Quality towards Inclusive, Digital and Green Oriented Higher Education in Armenia (KPI4HE)” project kick-off meeting took place at Yerevan State University.<\/div>\n
The project aims at improving higher education system governance, university strategic planning contributing to quality and inclusive, digital and green oriented higher education in Armenia through development and implementation of National framework of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for higher education (NF-KPI), operationalization of Institutional Research and Planning Services (IRPS) and revision of State Institutional Accreditation Standards in line with NF-KPI.<\/div>\n
The coordinator of this national three-year program is Yerevan State University, the participants are the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA), five RA universities \u2013 Gavar State University, Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Information and Automation Problems of The National Academy of Sciences Institute, Northern University, Eurasia International University, one NGO, as well as three European universities (Dresden Technical University, University of Oldenburg (Germany) and University of Genoa (Italy).<\/div>\n
From Gavar State University the Rector of the University \u2013 Ruzanna Hakobyan, Head of the Chair of Informatics and Physical-Mathematical Sciences \u2013 Varazdat Avetisyan, Head of Academic Policy Department \u2013 Olga Ghazaryan, Chief Accountant \u2013 Gurgen Muradyan, Head of Foreign Relations and Media Department- Lilit Torchayn and a Specialist at the same department \u2013 Siranuysh Mkrtchyan, participated at the workshop.<\/div>\n
YSU Rector – Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports – Artur Martirosyan, the Head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Ambassador – Vassilis Maragos, the Coordinator of “Erasmus+” National Office in Armenia – Lana Karlova and Head of YSU International Cooperation Department, KPI4HE project coordinator – Alexander Margarov, spoke during the opening ceremony of the project kick-off meeting. Lilit Torchyan presented the key activities of Gavar State University.<\/div>\n
In the second stage of the meeting, the work packages of the project, the works planned for each institution within the framework of the WPs, the final results of the project were discussed, the target indicators for increasing the quality of education the partner universities were highlighted: inclusion, good governance of green oriented higher education (inclusion of environmental education) and digitization. At the end of the meeting, the works planned for the next month within the frame of the project were discussed in more detail.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
