Gavar State University lecturer of the Chair of Social Sciences, Acting Head of Quality Assurance Department – Kanakara Hayrapetyan participated in a one-week training course at the ancient University of Evora, Portugal, founded in 1559, within the framework of EU Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program.
The GSU lecturer had a meeting with Marina Cordeiro, Coordinator of “Erasmus+” International Academic Mobility program of the university, and Christina Simoes, Coordinator of Administration and Financial Support Department of the Faculties of Humanities, History and Archeology, Pedagogy, Sociology, Philosophy, got acquainted with the university’s infrastructure, educational resources, libraries still preserving medieval traditions.
In order to exchange experience, the GSU lecturer listened to lectures in the Faculties of History and Archeology, Pedagogy, got acquainted with the university’s online learning platform, the university’s quality assurance structures, the program of institutional promotion of the quality of education, and the toolkit for researching students’ needs.
GSU representative stated that the training course was effective and served to its purpose.
