On October 31 and November 1, 2019, a workshop took place at Gavar State University for students and teaching staff within EU “ERASMUS + ARMENIAN NETWORK OF EXCELLENCE IN BIO-PRODUCTS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (ABIONET) project”.
The workshop was delivered by the lecturers of Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
Lecturers and students from the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Economics of GSU participated in the workshops.
The topic of the two-day workshop was student start-up programs and communication skills, by which the logic and methodology of developing new projects, ways to find money for the projects, were introduced to students. The speaker Gerard Cullen highlighted the skills needed for successfully making an interview with employer to get a job, using special questionnaires.
Students presented their entrepreneurial ideas, formed working groups, and developed the actions needed to the implementation of their projects. By conducting surveys with potential clients, the students presented possible developments of their ideas.
During the workshop, an active question and answer on entrepreneurial thinking and communication skills took place.
