THE WORKSHOP OF EU “ERASMUS+ REFINE” PROJECT TOOK PLACE AT GAVAR STATE UNIVERSITY

Gavar State University is a partner of EU “REFINE. Reforming Master Programs In Finance in Armenia and Moldova” project.

On September 19, 2009 the regular workshop of the project  took place at Gavar State University, attended by project coordinators Johannes Wetzinger and Richard Pircher from the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna, Austria, Oto Hudec and Nataša Urbančíková from Technical University of Košice , Slovakia, as well as Vahan Gevorgyan, Chairman of Union of Employers of Gavar, students, academic and administrative staff members of GSU.

Rector of Gavar State University Ruzanna Hakobyan delivered a welcoming speech, highlighting more than two dozen international programs implemented at the university, and referring to the interim results of EU “ERASMUS + REFINE” program.

The members of the project, as well as the lecturers of GSU, who were trained in European universities within the framework of the project, presented the results of the works done, reformed Master programs, the experience gained.

The representatives of collaborating HEIs also presented the results of their work highlighting the role of Gavar State University and the effective implementation of the program by the university.

At the end of the workshop a number of organizational issues were discussed.
